What’s the difference between a wooden Adirondack chair and a Poly-Luxe one?

While we use high-quality, resilient woods in our Adirondack chairs and other products, some customers prefer to go with fully recycled plastic alternatives like our Poly-Luxe material. We also sell Poly-Luxe variants that more closely resemble real wood, meaning you get the best of both worlds.

What is your staining process like?

If you order a wooden chair with our specialized treatment process, well, you’re in for a treat! Your chair will undergo four stages including the use of an 80-gallon vat of SICO ProLuxe – equivalent to three coats of stain – along with hand drying and other critical steps. This ensures the best possible finish.

Assembly Instructions

Our assembly process is easy and time-efficient thanks in part to its industry-leading design! In fact, all the instructions are visual-based, allowing you to follow each step along the journey towards a finished chair. The assembly starts with the creation of the seatback using individual slats and a series of bracers to keep them together. Afterwards, the chair base itself is put together, involving the attachment of slats to three pieces that form the edges and maintain the chair’s shape. Next comes the chair legs, affixed to the base, followed by the installation of the armrests. The last step involves adding the assembled seatback to the base, completing the build of your beautiful new foldable Adirondack chair. Need more information?
