Materials Used in Our Adirondack Chair Sets
Knotted Cedar
We offer knotted cedar for customers who are fans of a traditional, rugged look. With a slight grain and medium to coarse texture, knotted cedar can give your Adirondack chair a unique textural effect.
Clear Cedar
For a smooth texture, opt for the clear cedar. Rich in colour, it provides the textural effects of knotted cedar without knots and burls. You can also get our clear cedar products in an exclusive caramel colour. The lumber used to create the caramel colour is taken from the heart of the cedar tree and is stained using our four-step staining process, delivering impeccable quality and a stunning finish.
Pine
Pine offers a similar look to knotted cedarwood, but because it is more common, it is more cost-effective. Use our industry-leading, four-step staining process featuring SICO ProLuxe stain for added resistance and a long-lasting finish.
Brazillian Walnut (IPE)
IPE wood is known for being beautiful and strong, which makes it extremely durable in harsh weather conditions. Left to age naturally, this wood will develop a gorgeous silver patina which is often a desired look for buyers.
Poly-Luxe
Poly-Luxe chairs are made from high-density polyethylene lumber, also known as poly lumber. The modern chairs are made of recyclable plastics for minimal maintenance purposes. If you’re a fan of wooden chairs, you can order yours in a woodgrain finish to get a natural look and feel! Poly-Luxe also gives you the options of more colours, whether you love bright, vibrant colours or striking neutral tones including black and white.
Features
Folding Chairs
All of our Adirondack chairs are foldable for easy transportation and storage. Never leave your favourite outdoor chair behind again!
Durable
Our chairs are made to endure harsh Canadian climates. Whether it’s cold winters, extreme summer heat, or heavy rainfall, they’re up to the task thanks to the use of premium-quality materials and components. We treat our wooden chairs with our industry-leading, four-step staining process that employs the best stain on the market, SICO ProLuxe, making them impervious to weather conditions. With our weather and pest resistant chairs, you never have to worry.
Eco-Friendly
Our wooden Adirondack chairs are made from lumber harvested by Forest Stewardship Council suppliers. Whenever they cut down a tree, they plant another two. It’s a forward-thinking, sustainable process that provides high-quality lumber for our chairs. Alternatively, our Poly-Luxe furniture is made of high-density polyethylene lumber, which consists of 100% recyclable consumer plastics.
Maintenance-Free
We’re proud to say our chairs are basically maintenance-free, making them easy to take care of. To keep them clean, wash them down once every three weeks with soap and water, and rinse off the soap thoroughly to avoid a thin film from developing. You may want to paint your outdoor furniture once every three years unless you’ve decided to go with untreated wood and want to create a naturally aged look.
